  • The second subject in this lecture was the use of Markov Chains in a computer music along with examples of using a Markov chain in computer music by translating the Icelandic language into music.

Kjartan has been Professor at the IUA and led various educational and research projects inside and outside the university. He has been chairman and board member of various European and international societies and organisations and led Nordic and Icelandic music festivals.
